Feel-good vibes and community support are practically on tap at the Manor Road Community Library and Hub in Hornsby, NSW.

This Street Library was gifted to the residents of the area and the Community Fire Unit by @hornsbycouncil, who purchased one of our Council Grant Packs.

The families of Dido St Early Learning Centre in K

The families of Dido St Early Learning Centre in Kiama, held a pie drive to raise funds to purchase a Two Story House Street Library for their community. The library has been lovingly decorated and fit out with props to encourage storytelling through role play (for children and their grownups!).

The Little Blue Library in Canberra is a beautiful example of repurposing and upcycling as well as a generous contribution to the community.

“I liked the idea of making a Street Library but I also wanted to recycle something. I managed to get a secondhand dollhouse that I pulled apart and reconfigured to make our street library. I used some secondhand colourbond wall for the roof and my son and I painted it with paint we already had. We also created some designs on the outside.” - Tracy, Street Librarian
