Fusion Street Library is located outside their playground community centre in Hughesdale, Victoria. They are passionate about connecting with their community and providing services like exercise and fitness classes, school holiday programs and youth activities.

Kerry from Fusion Oakleigh Youth and Community Centre a not for profit organisation discovered Street Libraries after seeing a post on social media.

The centre has a beautiful playground. It is a perfect location for everyone to pick up a book and read under a shady tree.

The Street Library has no age limit. All kind of books live in this fabulous Street Library from great adult fiction to children story books.

The design for the Street Library came from the community and the colour represent the same colours of Fusion logo. They launch their Street Library as part of Neighbourhood Day to celebrate their wonderful community and to show that you are never alone with a book.

“What makes our Street library different is that we are connected to a community centre, so our doors are open to come to grab a book and stay for a coffee/tea – we have a place to relax and read if you wish.” Kerry Fusion Oakleigh Centre
