L J Hooker Avalon has always been a strong supporter of the community and planting three Street Libraries around Avalon is just one more way the business can pay it forward to the people in the neighbourhood. The best thing about Street Libraries is that they are free to use, books come and go and there is a constant change of books for everyone to enjoy. All libraries are stocked with a variety of books for readers of all ages to grab a book.
“Setting up the Avalon Street Libraries was something I’d wanted to do for a while! My favourite cafe used to do an informal book swap, but it’s longer there, so I missed being able to go and quickly grab a book. I felt that Street Libraries would also be a great way to connect the community, especially during COVID lockdowns which is when I first started organising them. So far, they’ve been a great success!”
