Located on the corner of Albert Street & Weller Street Goodwood, the Sunflower Little Lending Library started its life as an artwork project during lockdown 2020.
It is protected from the weather within the doorway of a heritage listed former shopfront, which dates back to 1910.
The library itself is an up-cycled TV unit that was cut down to size and decorated with beautiful sunflowers.
Sunflower Little Lending Library has 5 – 15 visitors per day, with brisk gifting and receiving of books, toys and produce.
Sunflower Little Lending Library has found fame and affection within the Goodwood community. It has been featured in a report by the City of Unley and was the location for a photo shoot for an emerging local band. It has also become a Pokemon Go Pokestop!
