This Little Free Library is a community initiative: A community member came up with the idea and sought council approvals. It was built and installed by volunteers from the local Men’s Shed.
It was designed to look like a traditional small house, and is weather proof with its permanent roofing. It has shelves for both kids and adult books.
It is always restocked with fabulous books – come and grab one today!
The cute Book Nook in Sid Eaton Park (Norma Road cnr Doney Road), Alfred Cove, is easily accessible. It is next to a footpath in a park, near a playground and benches. Grab a book on the way the bus or while you are at the playground!
