Our street library came about after we saw a need in the local community. Post covid we have found a lot of children are spending more time on devices rather than reading with their families. We want to encourage literacy and language for the whole community by providing a street library promoting reading over devices for children and families to be on at the end of the day.
We are located on a major suburban street of Granville that has high foot and car traffic. Our street library is available to our community to borrow or drop books off.
