Building, painting and filling our library combines three of my passions – creativity, DIY and community. Alto Avenue has given our family so much over the years.
We’ve been supported and nurtured by our wonderful neighbours (particularly during my treatment and recovery from aggressive Breast Cancer) and maintaining the library is a way we can pay it forward.
Our bright street library features hand drawn leaf and flower images and sketches of the homes of neighbours who have become our friends.
