Our kindergarten wanted to promote a love of books and build early literacy learning in our wider community. Our Street Library is themed around “1000 Books Before School” and suggests ways to achieve this (e.g. read 1 book per day for 3 years). Children’s books are located on the bottom shelf for easy selection and adult books are located on the top shelf so grown ups don’t miss out on the fun! Our children have loved planning and decorating the Street Library and our families are a constant source of book donations. We invite you to visit to “take a book and leave a book”.
