I’ve fallen in love with street libraries in my local area. I love that books choose me – and I’ve found myself reading a much more diverse range of genres as a result. My passion clearly shone through, as on Mothers Day 2024 my daughters surprised me with their home made Street Library for me to claim and maintain. This came complete with a sedate Snoopy and Woodstock on top… a childhood favourite of mine, and hopefully a draw card for others.
I chose to add puzzles and games to my library as I believe they also help with connection to self and others in the community.
