Having a street library has always been a dream of ours and it’s finally come to fruition! When we moved into Beatson terrace we knew that our house next to the bus stop was the perfect location. We love to upcycle and when we found this little bread box at a garage sale we knew it had great potential. Given a new lick of paint and some vinyl wallpaper for the interior, and she was ready to go. A hand crocheted pole cover was the finishing touch to make our library pop to life. We hope it brings as much joy to our community that it brings to us.
