Beecroft 100 Stories street library

40A Hannah St,Beecroft,NSW 2119.Australia.

Our cute kangaroo library is ready for you to take, swap or leave a book on your way to the train, childcare, school , shops or walking your dog.It has a selection of books for everyone starting from babies - literacy starts from birth!

Our library comes from a lifelong passion, interest and working in the area of literacy especially literacy before school.80% of brain development happens before 5 and sharing stories is incredibly powerful in children loving books and learning to read more easily.Children who see their parents reading learn it’s a way of relaxing and learning and often will also read if they see you reading.I love reading so there are books for adults as well as children. These libraries promote sharing and community engagement. They bring a smile to your face when you walk past and have a look.Happy reading everyone!
