By demand, Bemboka Bush Cottage brings the street library to Bemboka! It’s located at the historic bush nursing cottage on Hoskins Street, just off the Snowy Mountains Highway.
The sturdy old freezer is repurposed from Bemboka Pie Shop and painting is inspired by the Brighton Beach boxes with the aim to inspire relaxation, fun and learning.
This inland coastal agricultural village endures all the elements, and is well known for high winds & bushfires. The library was established in 2020 during COVID with support from Bega Valley council as a response to community needs.
