Our friends in Number 157 were moving out. They donated many things to their neighbours they couldn’t take with them, including quite a few books; a surplus in fact.
What to do with these extra tomes? A charity store? Well, maybe. But how about using them as the starting stock for a Street Library. Triff and brill!
Stephen (Number 155) built the box, and named it ‘Bibliotek 157’ in honour of Sara, ex-157, whose idea it was, and who is also Swedish.
