This library is situated in the small, rural town of Kangarilla. This historic township is surrounded by small farms and home to beautiful, majestic old gum trees. Birdlife is abundant and so a bird house themed library seemed an obvious choice. I had so much fun creating the library and bringing the magic of reading to my part of Adelaide.
A love of reading sparked the idea of creating a street library for a school research project. I wanted to make books accessible to everyone and created this birdhouse library.
