Birds of A Feather

Weil Park, Woolwich Road, Woolwich, NSW, Australia

Designed and painted in 2018 by Visual Art Students at Marist Sister’s College, Woolwich. The girls sought their inspiration from Weil Park’s non-human users - its wildlife and dogs. But like the budding artists they are, they have used some creative license to Include a Toucan! Not a native, but nevertheless a colourful and unique addition!

Hunters Hill Council’s Street Libraries are a joint venture between Council and our wonderful Community members, whether they be schools, local artists or local groups.
Each Library is unique and has been lovingly and enthusiastically decorated by a community group or organisation within our Municipality.
