Our house is opposite an oval which seemed like the ideal location for a Street Library because there’s so much foot traffic and children. That’s proved correct as we now have a bare patch of lawn in front of the library since it gets so much daily use!
I’m an academic librarian at a university, so it was a natural fit to promote books in my local community .
