Our family love and gather books. My Dad collected lots of books and loved to browse them until his health prevented it. As a literacy teacher living in a location with lots of passers by, I thought I’d share the love with young and old by building a small street library. Friends and family helped construct, paint, erect and fill the library. Check it out; the books change steadily.
This fun small library has books for children and adults. Situated across the road from Mudgee Primary school and next to Douro St zebra crossing, it's easy to grab a book as you come past. There's also plenty of roadside parking if you want to drive by and pick up something to read.
Located at:68 Douro Street, Mudgee, NSW, 2850, Australia
