I’ve have known about community libraries for quite a while now. We recently moved into our forever home in 2018, with a selection of books that we no longer need or use. Over the years, I have always donated to charity, however, I recently thought ‘Why don’t we open our own community library?’ I suggested this to my husband (who is a builder by trade), he was very excited by this concept & had the library built and painted within a week. Our daughter came up with the name of our library “Books For You @ 4122” & our son let us know what stock would be appropriate in our community library. It certainly has been a fun family project.
Come along to our quiet little street in Wishart and you may find a literary gem or two. We have a small selection of adult and children's fiction and non-fiction books to swap....There may even be the occasional DVD as well.
Located at:12 Andalucia Court; WISHART
