After seeing libraries in my hometown, on holidays locally and overseas, I knew when we bought a house that a Street Library would be on my to-do list.
Almost three years later we are open!
I have always loved reading and the places books can take you. Living out of ‘town’, our nearest library is 15-20 minutes away. I would love for local readers to have the opportunity to borrow in our village. Our library caters for children and adults and we look forward to sharing this with our neighbours and those who use our street as a shortcut to Wellington and Dubbo.
I am excited to join the few local Street Libraries in the Dubbo Region.
A street library in the beautiful village of Wongarbon (near Dubbo). Bright pink with touches of yellow, this is for locals and travellers passing by.
Located at:24 Beni St, Wongarbon, 2831, NSW, Australia
