Our street has always been very community minded and during lockdowns over the past few years there has been a mindset of watching out and helping each other. Most people have done more reading than any other time in their lives and have so many good books to give away. The library was born as a central place to swap books as well as give away good stories for others to read. There is always a selection of adult as well as children’s books and books are cycled in and out so there are new selections often.
Little library box from recycled materials and painted bright colours to get your attention. The scenes on the sides are colourful Australia beach changing room with the ocean in the background and small boats off in the distance.
