Branxton Children’s Literacy Corner

Why not take your little one for a visit to the Bakery, relax and enjoy a coffee or cold drink and while you are there you can read a book, borrow a book, swap a book and share the love of reading with your child.

For Early Childhood Education Week in August 2017 we focused on engaging with our community and making meaningful connections. We decided to open up a street library. A way for children to access free books and for families to engage with their children and share a love of reading. The street library has been painted and prepared with love by our preschool educators and children. We want everyone within our community to be able to access children’s books and allow visitors to our town. Keeping the love of reading alive!
