Bungaree Community Garden – Street Library

Bungaree Community Garden, Ambrose Hallen Park, Derbyshire Avenue, Toongabbie, NSW 2146

Come and share with us your books and magazines whether you are young or old, into fact or fiction or just enjoy a good read.

We are a small community garden in Toongabbie that was established just under twenty years ago. Our aim is to provide an environment where people of all ages can participate in a garden whether they just want to meet socially for a “cuppa and a chat” or work within a communal garden space. With more and more people living in smaller dwellings and us being in a more secular society, it is vital that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful outside. Not everyone has a garden or the time to maintain one. If we can provide somewhere everyone and anyone can escape from their home for an hour or two to meet and chat to others within the neighbourhood then we will have in someway succeeded. Having a Street Library will be a very welcome addition to our community.
