We are a young couple in love with books, carpentry and playing Pokémon Go. Knowing you could have a “pokéStop” on any public location that sparked interest, we first built the library in the hopes it’d become one of them. The Pokémon game ignored our requests completely, but we found out how much we loved having a little street library in our sidewalk, and we found joy in it everyday. Since then we’ve started our instagram page ( @buziosteca ) to spread the word and we’ve made friends, read even more and built a 2nd one!
Sunny and pretty as our beaches, our beloved street library is located on the wonderful peninsula of Búzios, Brazil.
