We took on this library project as another way we could serve the local community. We re-purposed a donated office cabinet and a children’s pew that we found in the back shed. Two local artists, who are also members of our church community, created a design and painted the cabinet. Our start-up stock of books was sourced from our Carrum Uniting Church op shop and our paper recycling shed. We also have a book club that meets every couple of months on a Monday night. The library is available at the front of our church 24/7 – We are there on Sunday mornings and are always keen to meet new friends!
An all-age, well-stocked book swap with a welcoming seat (all under cover) so that you can take your time choosing a book.
