One lady from our community is a retired teacher with a passion for reading. She shared the vision and we adopted the concept of a Street library. A member of our community is part of the local Men’s Shed so he designed and constructed our library. It has a constant flow of titles for all ages.
Nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne's outer Sth East, the village of Montrose has a unique community and creativity. Our Library has easy access via a walkway from residential streets to the village shops and town centre.
