If you travel off the Huon Highway and up the picturesque Crabtree Valley to Sharpes rd, you will find our street library. We really wanted to put one here as we plan to open a campground here soon and everyone needs a good book! It’s in a good spot as it’s near the river where there are lots of birds and other native animals, gorgeous white gums and jumping trout. People go past our gate on foot, on horseback and on bikes, and kids swim in the deep parts of the river.
Whilst you are visiting our library , see if you can spot the platypus playing in the river...or perhaps an echidna in the long grass?
