The children at our kindy love to read and are keen to share this within our community. We decided to make a street library for the whole family with books for babies all the way up to books for grandparents. We are learning to read and sharing stories with people we love is a great way to build a life long love of books, reading and learning.
We hope our street library supports the reading journey those who contribute on the Northern Beaches. The Dee why Kindergarten children check the library each day to see if any books need to be repaired and to make sure that the books inside are good to read.
Our library comprises of books donated from our local community. We have both adult and children’s books available so there is something for everyone.
