The book library fridge is the daughters passion project as an avid reader wanting to share the love of physical books in the digital age.
The Seed Library is the Mother’s passion project as a hobby veggie patch and flower gardener.
Our Devonport community is wonderful in supporting both libraries we have an abundance of seed varieties and our book library is always full and revolving.
We are very grateful for every donation and the community care and involvement.
Donations of locally grown and collected backyard seeds are cleaned and placed into handmade seed envelopes, labeled and left out for locals to enjoy, in the support and encouragement of local food sustainability and for growers to enjoy a vegetable or flower garden at home without the cost of seeds. Our seeds have the local climate lineage and are spray free for abundant propagation 🙂 sometimes there are seedings and pots left as well.
We have meet ups during the year and attend many local events.
