The Dhurringile School and Community street library came about as a way for the primary school to share and give back to the community.
In return, the community are supporting the school through showing their love of knowledge, learning and reading.
Dhurringile has one of Australia’s isolated street libraries. There is no ‘township’ at Dhurringile, just the school and community grounds surrounded by the district of Dhurringile.
