The libraries were set up to allow patrons of the centre and people in the local area to have access to a store of books and also to donate books that they no longer need for others to enjoy. They are maintained by the staff at the Centre and have seen a fair bit of use since their erection earlier this year.
The Dougherty Community Centre is a hub for the local Chatswood area and contains a community herb garden, vertical garden, The Blend Café and rooms for hire for meetings, seminars and classes. It now also boasts 2 little free libraries.
Regular lifestyle, spiritual, cultural and hobby classes and activities are also held at the centre.
Located at:7 Victor Street, Chatswood NSW 2067
