The Dr David Christophel Memorial Library

Our street library was created by local craftsman, Mark Simpson using recycled materials. Created in memory of Dr David Christophel, much loved member of the Belair Uniting Church and local Mitcham Hills Community and beyond. David was a passionate university professor who inspired his students and in later years fostered a love of reading and literature within the community through his time at Blackwood Books. Always remembered with love. Vale David!
