Duncan St Library

36 Duncan St Victoria Park WA

Great little library well stocked in a lovely shady park, with small playground, across the road from a cafe.

A series of libraries in Victoria Park were instigated by Vic Park Transition Network, it was made possible by a grant from the Town of Victoria Park. The libraries were built during a series of workshops organised by the Vic Park Arts Centre and run by the Joy of Wood, community gathered to do the construction and enjoyed meting people and learning a new skill. Much of the wood was repurposed saving it from landfill.
