Dwight has spent several years up in a tree, studying English, finally able to explain that he is not a tree person but a library person. So now he has a fine table at which to sit, plus readers’ chairs. Also in the first photo my fellow library builder Helen Backhouse.

There are passers-by of all ages, though it is a quiet street. The library is wheelchair accessible and actually out of sight of the house, so browsing can be private. We have oodles of books to add. No launch ceremony, just word of mouth.
