“Books are a uniquely portable magic”.
– Stephen King Auhtor
Welcome to my Street Library. I invite you to share the joys of reading with our neighbours.
Books come and go; no one needs to check them in or out. You can simply reach in and take what interests you, and when you have read them, you can return them to the Street Library, or pass them on to friends. If you do it would be helpful if you replace it with a book of a similar genre.
There are a few marked books I would like to be returned so everyone can enjoy them.
If anyone has a book or two that they think others would enjoy, they can just pop it into any Street Library they happen to be walking past.
They are a symbol of trust and hope – a tiny vestibule of literary happiness.
Enjoy!
