I was inspired by little free libraries where I used to live in Alameda, California- they’re everywhere there! I love the idea, and submitted my plan to the council, since I’d be putting it on council land. They were super supportive in helping me to get a permit! A friend who works at Bunnings helped me to get all the right materials to withstand the crazy Melbourne weather– and this is the first thing I’ve ever built! I’m really proud of it, and hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
