This is our little box of enlightenment – it’s set in a nice suburban locale, where the residents are friendly and our neighbours are amicable.
I subscribe to a number of generalist scientific journals and magazines – Science, Nature and National Geographic and receive paper copies. It pains me to have to throw these out when their shelf space builds up.
I heard about the Street Library movement and subsequently saw one established in another suburb.
I thought what a great idea – maybe I can place the journals, which would appeal to a general audience, in them for people to take and read along with books and novels.
I hope passers-by might think so too.
