My best friend and I have loved street libraries ever since we first discovered one, so recently I surprised her and bought one for my place. She’s an artist who draws fantasy maps and birds, so I asked her to decorate it any way she wants.
We decided to paint the library the same colours as the house, and we wanted to incorporate both a map and our fave birds into the design.
The magpie was inspired by Daddy Swoop, a maggie who often comes to visit with his babies, and our favourite bird, the bin chicken.
