It is so important to introduce books to children from an early age and inspire the love of reading, language and literature to all, no matter what the age….
Our new home for our books is a recycled old dolls house which was restored and donated to our service by the local community group Best Community Shed – the upcycled dolls house was painted by the children who attend family day care. Our library “lives” in the outdoor area of our playgroup and we have shared what our Street library is all about and how it works with all 300 of our families, our community playgroup and we also had our local newspaper come and do a front page story when we first launched in September 2017 -http://www.inverelltimes.com.au/story/4899538/little-bookworms-launch-street-library/
