We are Lismore’s first registered street library. As a group living together in a small set of flats we were inspired to set up a street library to share our love of literature with our wider community. Our grand opening was presided over by Lismore’s mayor and was well attended by the wider community. At the opening guests contributed, borrowed and exchanged books from the library and shared their reflections and insights into the authors and books. The opening was an unmitigated success and we hope it heralds a new age of community connection through literature.
We aim to share quality and contemporary novels and other books with our local community, increasing our community's connectedness through literature.
