One of my favourite past times is exploring nature, whether it be my own backyard, a botanical garden or a plant nursery, and taking in the colours, shapes and patterns. I wanted to create a scene that was strikingly and vibrant, displaying native plants and including a river to highlight the lane cove river. The design includes plants that are found in the lane cove national park; the flannel flower, old man banksia, native fuchsia and kangaroo paws. This garden is flourishing, like the gardens of lane cove.
My Library is in a lovely space at the entry of the Pottery Green Oval, easy to access near the gallery and shops.
