Passer-bys on their daily walk to Hedgely Dene Gardens stop, open the Street Library choose a book or replace what they have previously taken.
The children know where to look for their section…. Children’s book on the right and Adults on the left.
It’s such fun and promotes neighbourly friendship.
Our library is brightly painted in many colours depicting flowers, lady birds, bees and birds. It sits on our front fence facing the lake.
