Forest Library

70 Moxhams Rd Winston Hllls 2153 Around the corner on Cliff Avenue

My Street Library is in the shade, quite private and there is room to browse.

I have wanted a Street Library for some time and with the help of Don Cunningham and his team at the Parramatta District Mens Club, an old wooden hospital type bedside table was recycled brilliantly. I painted the Library in bright colours with the help of my granddaughters and once attached to my fence it filled quickly. The name is from comments of small children walking along my footpath saying that it is like walking in a forest. My nature strip is fully planted with trees and shrubs and provides a shady space on hot summer days. The Library is well used and it is a delight to hear children open the door and look inside.
