Bill has created a street library that is a mini replica of his art deco house, complete with arches, castellations and a hand carved pillar. Made with love and care, borne from a passion for reading, this street library holds about 30 books on a variety of genres, which are rotated frequently. Each book has a bookmark with a quote on it, such as this one from JK Rowling: “If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book”. We welcome you to take a book, bring a book or share a book and enjoy the surprise of a new discovery.
Our library is right next to a bus stop, so you can sit on the bench and read, whether you are waiting for a bus or not! If you're not on the bus, choose a book, then wander up to the beach only 400 metres away.
