George Walker Garden

Corner of Crockford and Raglan Street Port Melbourne VIC 3207

George Walker Garden is newly planted with lovely roses, has a great park bench and is directly across from the 234 Raglan St/Crockford St (Port Melbourne) bus stop! Come, take a look, take a book enjoy a read!

Local Port Melbourne residents through a local community initiative called the Social Health and Inclusion Port project (SHIP) partnered with the Port Philip Men’s Shed Association to build ten little free libraries throughout the City of Port Phillip.
This is the first of those 10 to be installed!
We love it because it brings something special to a previously neglected corner of Port Melbourne, it brings people together and people love to share their books with each other and find new things all the time.
