Goodstart Early Learning – College Street

We were excited to announce the opening of our community street library to coincide with the start of Child Protection week 2022.
Which was opened by one of our members of parliament Chris Whiting whom also donated to this initiative, other local allied health professionals such as headspace and your town were also invited as valued members of our community to be the first to place information within the library for our community to access.
As an Exceeding Early Learning Service, we understand that Protecting children is everybody’s business and educating our children and local community about protecting themselves, protecting others and building awareness around speaking up is important in all ages.
Therefore, with the introduction the street library today we hope to enable children and families from our community access to information on local programs and initiatives as well as exchange books. We hope with this initiative will be able to have an impact for many children and families in our local community.
We believe that securing a safe space to collect information when needed is hugely beneficial in allowing communication and conversations to be had, this information can then be used by our families as well as our community to build knowledge and support complex conversations when needed.
