A child can learn to value literacy and language through the experience of hearing stories, looking at pictures in print, and reading and sharing books. Our Guardian King Street Kindergarten children wanted to share their love of reading with our King Street community. After researching different ways to reach the most people in our community, it was decided we would make a street library. Our bookshelf was donated by one of our kind families, our children designed and executed the decorating of the bookshelf, then our Guardian King Street Library came alive with possibilities! Our bookshelf contains books for the whole family, and we encourage only family friendly books for our Library please 🙂 Happy reading everyone!!
