The idea of the library came from the Gymea Chamber of Commerce. With the Gymea Community Centre positioned in the Centre of the suburb’s main street, it provides the Community with a group willing to be responsible for the library and another who adds a diverse range of topics and stories for all to enjoy. The library was launched in October 2019.
Nestled in the heart of Gymea Village, our library provides easy access for our well read community to access a new book, share a book or add a book whilst lazing in the luscious, leafy surrounds of Gymea. Cafes are all around making this library location a "must try' for the locals.
