In a rural setting in Tasmania is a heritage listed town Hamilton. This town has many convict built stone and timber buildings , to reflect this heritage the street library was built to reflect that heritage.
A true community spirit dominated with support from the central highlands council, constructed by the men’s shed on land offered to site it that would provide a convenient location for all the community.
A with a generous offering of donated books this street library is due to open officially on 26/7/2019.
