Hatter’s Cottage Street Library, named after the house on whose fence it sits, was born in September 2021 when connecting with the local neighbourhood turned out to be the ‘silver lining’ of lockdown. Finding street libraries in the surrounding streets always brought a little thrill — so why not create one to add to this cycle of joy?
