Located near a popular playground, the library’s spaceship design is quirky and appealing to children. It is full of children’s books and park visitors are encouraged to take a break from playing to sit and enjoy a book. The library was designed, built and decorated by students from Open House, a volunteer based charity who provide long term friendship and holistic support to children, youth and adults, particularly those who are disadvantaged or socially isolated.
